Suisham named a Steelers captain

PITTSBURGH — Greenville resident Shaun Suisham was named one of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ four captains for the 2014 season.Suisham, the Steelers’ kicker, was named a special teams captain along with safety Robert Golden. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was voted as the offensive captain, and safety Troy Polamalu was voted defensive captain.Suisham is entering his 10th season in the NFL and fifth with the Steelers, having joined the organization in the middle of the 2010 season. He signed a four-year contract extension with the franchise this summer.

 

Versailles hosts 20-team boys golf invitational
