This is an earnest plea to all of those out there who choose to walk, run, or ride bicycles during the hours of darkness. Please protect yourselves from serious injury and possible death by wearing appropriate clothing while you are out on the streets.
I would suggest that you invest a few dollars in some form of reflective clothing or gear that could save you from any negative, life-changing occurrence.
Personally, I have had several “near miss” situations where individuals appeared to me at the very last moment. On one occasion, there was on-coming traffic and I nearly hit the jogger because I did not see them. They were wearing dark, non-reflective clothing.
I beg of you to please protect yourselves from serious injuries and maybe even death by making yourselves visible to vehicle drivers.
