TROY — Three men who allegedly pulled a burglary at the home of a former girlfriend in Bradford over the weekend were given $50,000 bond during their arraignments in Miami County Municipal Court on Monday.

The accused, Matthew A. Adams, 20, of Greenville; Austin T. Nicodemus, 20, of Greenville; and Paul J. Treon, 20 of Russia all remain behind the bars at the Miami County Jail.

They are all scheduled for April 8 preliminary hearings.

Adams and Treon are both charged with aggravated burglary, a felony of the first-degree that carries a potential prison sentence of between three to 10 years in prison.

Nicodemus has been charged with complicity, a felony of the fifth-degree with a potential prison sentence of up to a year in prison.

In the early morning hours of March 29 the men drove to the home of a female acquaintance in Bradford in the 600 block of Moody Avenue and allegedly Adams and Treon went inside the residence while Nicodemus waited outside, according to sheriff’s reports.

The trio of men were apprehended a few hours later by the authorities and reportedly confessed to the crime, authorities said.

Treon presently has a carrying concealed weapon charge pending in municipal court, among another charge.
