Keiser to bring message

NEW PARIS — Friendship Community Church invites the public to a special Mother’s Day service on May 8 at 10:30 a.m. The church is located south of Hollansburg at 1005 Eaton-Fort Nesbit Road, New Paris.

Darrin Keiser will be singing and bringing for the message that day. He was born in Greenville and has family/friends all over Darke and Randolph County.

“Music has been an important part of my life since I started playing a violin way back in the sixth grade,” Keiser said. “I still play that same violin today in church. I started singing contemporary Christian songs about five years ago. I even recorded and released a couple of my own, with ‘Promises’ being the first. The messages in these types of songs amaze me. I started creating some videos to enhance the lyrics as pictures as some people like me remember those images. As I sing these performance tracks, sometimes with video, my hope is people take a chance to reflect on their relationship with God as I do.”

A light lunch will be provided after the service.
