VERSAILLES — The Winery at Versailles, 6572 State Route 47, is hosting its annual Farm to Table Dinner Friday and Saturday from 6-8 p.m.

Seating starts at 6 p.m. and is available every 15 minutes through 7 p.m. for this locally grown and produced grill-your-own dinner.

This year this dinner will be held outside under the stars (and the Winery’s tent/covered patio), weather permitting!

“You will be seated at cozy, intimate round tables of up to six guests,” said organizers.

Cost is $70/couple (plus tax and gratuity) and the menu is as follows: Mixed greens with Chardonnay Mango vinaigrette (greens provided by Ted Mangen) and spelt bread (bread provided by Bakehouse Bakery in Troy, flour from Bears Mill);

Tomato-mozzarella bites (tomatoes provided by Rue Bowman, mozzarella provided by The Flour Barrel); Choice of rib-eye, marinated chicken breast, or marinated pork shop (meat provided by Winners Meats and this is a grill-your-own-dinner) mashed potato bar: (potatoes provided by Rue Bowman) and glazed carrots; and apple dumplings (provided by Brumbaugh Fruit Farm).

This meal also includes a select bottle of wine to share (many of which are actually grown and produced right here in our local counties).

This event has limited seating and does sell out quickly.

“Support your local farmers and growers,” said organizers. “Call 937-526-3232 for reservations. You must be 21 years or older to attend. This event does have a cancellation policy.”
