VFW celebrating 70 years Saturday

GREENVILLE — Greenville Veterans of Forgien Wars Post 7262 is celebrating its 70th birthday on Saturday with special digital library viewing and park rememberance cermony.

Sequence of events for the day is as follows:

1 p.m. The Greenville Veterans Memorial Park and Digital Library Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How, Main Hall

Never Stop Serving Highlight Reel, Main Hall

3 p.m. Why the Digital Library is So Important by Mike Maloney. Digital interviews of Bob Stauffer, Harold Stauffer, Jack Harless and Doug Black, Main Hall

4 p.m. Posting of the Colors by Color Guard. (post commander), Greenville Veterans Memorial Park and Digital Library Gazebo. weather permitting.

Opening prayer by Chaplain Fred Dean

Singing of the National Anthem by Taylor Bowers
