UNION CITY, Ind. — The Community Help Center will be taking applications for Christmas baskets beginning at noon Monday, Oct. 31 and continuing through Wednesday, Nov. 30.

“You must bring proof of all income — food stamps, child support, SSI, Disability, unemployment, pension or proof of housing,” said organizers. “You must be a resident of Wayne or Jackson townships in Indiana or Jackson or Mississinawa Valley School District in Ohio.”

This is for low-income only.

Applications will be taken at the center on the following days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3 p.m.

“Please sign up in your own community,” they advised.
