GREENVILLE – The Darke County Sheriff’s Office is continuing an investigation into a serious motorcycle accident that happened Sunday on Greenville-Nashville Road.
On June 26 at 3 p.m. Darke County Deputies, along with Greenville Township Fire, Greenville Township Rescue and CareFlight responded to the injury accident in the 3100 block of Greenville-Nashville Road.
The preliminary investigation revealed a 2005 Harley Davidson, driven by Bernice Gress, 54 of Palestine, Ohio, was traveling east on the road when she traveled off the right side of the roadway. The motorcycle struck a utility box which caused it to overturn multiple times, ejecting Gress.
Gress was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight.
