Celina woman hits semi

MISSISSINAWA TWP. — A Celina woman was cited for a stop sign violation following a two-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon.

According to the crash report from the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, Kathleen V. Cyphers, 50, of Celina, was westbound on McFeeley-Petry Road about 2:13 p.m. when she failed to yield at a stop sign at Ohio 49 and struck the southbound Cooper Farms semi driven by Roger H. Langenkamp, 54, of Portland, Indiana.

The Cyphers vehicle was heavily damaged, and she was treated at the scene by Union City rescue personnel. The semi had minor damage.
