DARKE COUNTY — A Greenville woman is in jail after falsely claiming people had been shot at a Rossburg, Ohio, residence.

Faith L. Fellers, 49, was arrested Sunday evening after Darke County Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call of people shot at a residence on West Main Street in the Village of Rossburg. Darke County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene while Ansonia Rescue staged in the area.

When deputies arrived on scene, contact was made with Faith Fellers. During the course of the investigation it was determined that no one had been shot. Deputies arrested Fellers and transported her to the Darke County Jail where she is being held on a charge of Inducing Panic, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Fellers already is facing an earlier charge of inducing panic stemming from an incident in April. She has pleaded not guilty to that charge.
