GREENVILLE —A Union City man was treated for a head injury after his car rear ends another vehicle.

On August 2 at approximately 4:52 p.m., Darke County Deputies along with with Greenville Township Fire & Rescue responded to an injury crash at the intersection of State Route 49 and County Home Road.

The preliminary investigation revealed a Black 1999 GMC Sonoma, driven by Richard D. Campbell, 73, of Ansonia, was traveling Northwest on State Route 49 and had slowed down to make a left turn onto County Home Road when he was rear-ended by a Black 1995 Chevy Camaro driven by Bradley E. Nunley, 39, of Union City, Indiana.

Nunley was not wearing a seat belt and transported to Wayne HealthCare for a head injury. Campbell was treated and released at the scene.

Nunley was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
