Greenville BPW to host Super Raffle

GREENVILLE – The Greenville Business & Professional Women’s Club is holding its Super Raffle.

All proceeds from the raffle go toward the club’s scholarship fund for Darke County young women. Last year the club awarded four $750 scholarships. This year, the club will offer five $750 scholarships, one $500 (Anna Britton) scholarship, and the club also sponsors a $250 (Sheryl Brinley) Scholarship, which is awarded through the Edison College Scholarship Foundation.

This year there will be five prizes offered. First place prize is a two-night stay at StoneHead Ridge Cabin in Brown County, Indiana, donated by Deb Niekamp. The cabin sleeps two to four people with wood burning stove and hot tub.

Second place is a Frederic Duclos sterling silver necklace and earrings donated by Wieland Jewelers. The third place prize is a 39-inch Element Smart TV donated by Your Expert Mortgage Team – John and Kristina Heath. Fourth place prize is three hours of cleaning services from Suds in a Bucket Cleaning (Loure Bohn), and the fifth place prize is a three-speed hand blender donated by KitchenAid Experience.

Tickets are $2 each or six for $10 and are available at Merle Norman downtown Greenville or contact Susan Shields at 937-548-2592, Debbie Niekamp at 419-305-2178 or any BPW Club member.

The drawing will be held at the club’s meeting Dec. 13, and winner does not need to be present to win.
