UNION CITY, Ind. – The Union City BPOE #1534 thanks Jan Aukerman, his dance troupe, and many volunteers for their donation of $1,100 to the Elks cancer research committee.

In April 2019, Aukerman and his group presented an evening of “Dancing with the Stars” to raise these funds. Last year, the UC Elks contributed $26,000 to the Indiana Elks Association for their state major project of cancer research at Indiana University and Purdue University. These monies were raised by the UC Elks through fundraisers, dance & auction, golf tournament and ‘striker 9’ bowling event.
