Blue Angels 4-H club meeting

GREENVILLE — The Blue Angels 4-H club had a zoom meeting on Thursday, Dec. 10. The meeting was called to order by President, Rayleigh Richards. Rayleigh, lead the club in pledges. The secretary, Ella Williams, called the roll call and read minutes from the last meeting. The treasure’s report was given by Alivia Addis. The club has a balance of $722.46. It was first approved by Blake Addis and second by Evan Addis. Raleigh Richards read devotions for the club. Blake Addis, gave the Committee Service Report. He thanked everyone who participated in Trash Bash. The club received a check for $450.00.

The club is needing someone to be historian. Please let Sharon know if you are interested in holding this office. Please keep checking the E-Clover for Darke County 4-H news. At this time, everything is remote from Dec. 7, 2020 until Jan. 15, 2021. The Premier Award form has been updated and is due Jan. 15, 2021. County Medal Forms are also on the E-Clover and due on the same day. Officer books are also due to the extension office by Jan. 15. There will be a drop off box. Otherwise, you can contact the office at 937-548-5215 to arrange a drop off or pickup time.

There will be a state pen pal program. You will be matched up and write two letters per month from January to April. Darke County 4-H Committee is sponsoring a t-shirt contest. Designs must be submitted by Jan. 15 and voting will take place via social media. The family guide for 2021 will be mailed once per family. You can purchase project books online or make arrangements to pick them up from the extension office. The meeting was adjourned first by Blake Addis, and second by Daniel Williams.
