-9:43 a.m.: theft. Police were called to investigate a report of a former assistant manager at Bob Evans stealing money from the store.

Accidents

-Anthony Bruce Badger, 58, of Greenville, was cited for improper backing after reportedly backing out of a driveway Wednesday at 8:29 p.m. and striking a westbound vehicle in the 100 block of Bellvernon Street, driven by Denise M. Dillman, 47, of Greenville. The Dillman vehicle had moderate damage, and the Badger vehicle had minor damage.

-Tanner M. Hermann, 17, of Greenville, was cited for an assured clear distance violation after reportedly rear-ending the vehicle driven by Richard L. Robinson, 23, of Greenville, Thursday at 11:02 a.m. as it was slowed for traffic on Sherman Street. Damage to the Hermann vehicle was moderate and to the Robinson vehicle was minor.

-Ava A. Burkhart, 54, of Greenville, was cited for improper backing following a two-vehicle collision Thursday at 4:27 p.m. Burkhart was backing from a private drive in the 200 block of Tillman Avenue when her vehicle collided with one on the road driven by Gary M. Hurley II, 46, of Manchester. The Hurley vehicle sustained minor damage.

-Tony Ray Bandedo, 38, of Greenville, was cited for an assured clear distance violation following a two-vehicle collision Thursday at 4:36 p.m. According to the crash report, James C. Miller, 31, of Greenville, was stopped in the southbound lane on Wagner Avenue at Shawnee drive when Bandedo rear-ended his vehicle. The Bandedo vehicle had moderate damage, while the Miller vehicle had minor damage.
