Aug. 19

-1:59 p.m.: vandalism. Joseph Hakes was cited for criminal mischief after reporting minor damage to his property he suspected was caused by his neighbors, then admitting to police he poured grape Kool-Aid on the neighbor’s vehicle.

-7:38 p.m.: forgery. A resident reported a fraudulent check cashed in her name at Second National Bank.

Aug. 21

-5:23 p.m.: warrant. Heather Anthony was arrested at the high school on an active warrant through Darke County Sheriff’s Office on an original charge of contempt of court. She was transported to the jail and incarcerated on a $200 bond.

-9:20 p.m.: warrant. Starla Bowers was arrested at the fairgrounds on an active warrant out of Greenville for failure to appear for a tax violation sentencing. She was taken to the jail and held on $1,025 bond.

-10:09 p.m.: warrant. Jeremy Magoto was arrested at the fairgrounds on an active municipal court bench warrant for failure to appear for a compliance hearing on an original charge of resisting arrest. He was transported to jail and held without bond.

-10:37 p.m.: warrant. Matthew Saintignon was arrested at North Main and North Broadway on an active warrant for a stated “family offense.” He was incarcerated without bond.

Aug. 22

-11:07 a.m.: theft. A bicycle was reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Green Street.

Aug. 23

-12:46 p.m.: warrant. Daniel Griggs was arrested at a residence in the 300 block of Marion Drive on an outstanding felony warrant for domestic violence through Darke County Common Pleas Court. He was transported to jail and held without bond.

Aug. 24

-8:12 a.m.: theft. The door of a Bobcat was reported stolen from a construction site at 100 Bluestone Court.
