GREENVILLE — A Vandalia man was sentenced to prison Thursday in Darke County Common Pleas Court on a charge of possession of LSD, a third-degree felony.

Sean Thomas Marcum, 22, of Vandalia, entered a plea of guilty to the charge in August. As part of the plea agreement, a fifth-degree felony possession charge, two fourth-degree felony trafficking charges and a fifth-degree felony trafficking charge were dismissed.

Judge Jonathan P. Hein sentenced Marcum to nine months in prison, with 32 days credit for time served, and fined him the mandatory $5,000. His driver’s license also was suspended for six months. The offense occurred while Marcum was on community control supervision in Montgomery County.

Marcum was convicted of two counts of marijuana possession in Montgomery County in 2014. Adjudication was withheld on counts of carrying concealed weapons, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of dangerous ordnance, possession of cocaine, and an additional county of possession of marijuana.
