Leichty graduates Wittenberg

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — Caden Leichty, of Versailles, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Economics during Wittenberg University’s 170th year commencement exercises.

Local students named to dean’s list

SPRINGFIELD — Wittenberg University regularly recognizes students who maintain high educational standards. The following students maintained a 3.5 or higher grade point average for the 2015 spring semester and earned a place on the dean’s list: Katie Harman, class of 2017, from Arcanum, and Rebecca Shreffler, class of 2016, from Versailles.

Fields graduates, earns commission

CHARLESTON, S.C. — The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina, Class of 2015 graduate Emily Fields, of Bradford, Ohio, has commissioned into the U.S. Army.

Fields was commissioned during a ceremony on May 8. She received a Bachelor of Science in biology during commencement on May 9.

Local students named to dean’s list

ANDERSON, Indiana – Two local students, Calen Bruner and Lucas Whitmire, from Greenville have been named to the dean’s list at Anderson University for the spring semester of the 2014-15 academic year.

To be named to the dean’s list a student must earn a semester grade point average (g.p.a) of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0.
