VERSAILLES — The Versailles boys track and field team hosted its Versailles Invitational on Saturday with 22 teams, including six Darke County schools, competing in two divisions.


Waynesfield-Goshen won the small-school Orange Division while Minster won the Black Division of larger schools.


Following Waynesfield-Goshen in the Orange Division, Russia finished second, Houston finished third, Ansonia finished fourth, Botkins finished fifth, New Knoxville and Newton tied for sixth, Franklin Monroe finished eighth, Marion Local finished ninth, and Bradford finished 10th.


After Minster in the Black Division, Greenville finished second, St. Henry and West Liberty-Salem tied for third, Covington finished fifth, New Bremen finished sixth, Spencerville finished seventh, Crestview finished eighth, Versailles finished ninth, Arcanum finished 10th, Twin Valley South finished 11th, and Versailles B finished 12th.


Russia won the Orange 4x800-meter relay with a time of 8:55.12. Minster won the Black 4x800-meter relay with a time of 8:33.71.


Waynesfield-Goshen’s Drew Lament won the Orange 110-meter hurdles in a time of 15.80. Spencerville’s Anthony Schuh won the Black Division 110-meter hurdles in 15.16.


Waynesfield-Goshen’s Daniel Fridley won the Orange 100-meter dash with a time of 11.72. Minster’s Eli Wolf won the Black 100-meter dash in 11.58.


Ansonia’s 4x200-meter relay won the Orange Division race in 1:40.93. Covington won the Black 4x200-meter relay in 1:33.53.


New Knoxville’s Isaac Kuntz won the Orange 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:45.89. Aaron Balsbaugh of Greenville won the Black 1,600-meter run in 4:39.75.


Waynesfield-Goshen won the Orange 4x100-meter relay with a time of 46.73. Covington won the Black 4x100-meter relay in a time of 46.04.


Jordan Newman from Ansonia won the Orange 400-meter dash in a time of 54.47. West Liberty-Salem’s Conner Karg won the Black 400-meter dash with a time of 52.13.


Waynesfield-Goshen’s Connor Whitaker won the Orange 300-meter hurdles with a time of 43.48. Covington’s Dalton Bordelon won the Black 300-meter hurdles in 42.28.


Russia’s Caleb Ball won the Orange 800-meter run with a time of 2:06.75. Aaron Balsbaugh of Greenville won the Black 800-meter run in a time of 2:03.34.


Waynesfield-Goshen’s Daniel Fridley won the Orange 200-meter dash with a time of 24.38. West Liberty-Salem’s Conner Karg won the Black 200-meter dash in 23.50.


Houston’s Devon Jester won the Orange 3,200-meter run in a time of 10:23.65. Crestview’s Mycah Grandstaff won the Black 3,200-meter run in 9:47.14.


Russia won the Orange 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:45.24. Minster won the Black 4x400-meter relay in 3:37.70.


Russia’s NIck Paulus won the Orange shot put with a throw of 44 feet 11.5 inches. Minster’s Wes Hegemann won the Black shot put with a toss of 50 feet 4.5 inches.


Waynesfield-Goshen’s Joliffe Huber won the Orange discuss throw with a throw of 146 feet 10 inches. Minster’s Wes Hegemann won the Black discuss throw with a throw of 152 feet 11 inches.


Waynesfield-Goshen’s Daniel Fridley won the Orange long jump by jumping 19 feet 9.25 inches. Minster’s Jacob Dues won the Black long jump by jumping 18 feet 10.25 inches.


Waynesfield-Goshen’s Drew Lament won the Orange high jump by jumping 6 feet. Minster’s Wes Dues won the Black high jump by jumping 6 feet.


Houston’s Jacob Braun won the Orange pole vault by vaulting 12 feet 6 inches. St. Henry’s Kevin Mestemaker won the Black pole vault by vaulting 13 feet 6 inches.
