Webster’s Dictionary defines the word ILLEGAL as follows: “Not according to or authorized by law: UNLAWFUL – not sanctioned by official rules -n (1939) an illegal immigrant.” My personal definition of illegal would be as follows: “A widely used practice by many in the corporate world, political arena, and the American and world societies as a whole, to further their material worth, power and stature in an ever growing dishonest and unlawful world community.” Examples: War, lobbying, immigration, monopolization, globalization, immorality, religion, drugs, money laundering, slavery, prejudice, human trafficking, fraud and the list goes on and on.
How can so many of those in positions of power and influence; who swear on the Bible to uphold and enforce the laws of this land (and in turn are some of the worst offenders,) condone the motives of lawlessness and civil disobedience that are becoming commonplace in this country and worldwide? The answer isn’t complicated! Corporate (big money) dictatorship in the political arena has reined supreme for decades and has out-right ownership of far too many minds and souls.
As one of our greatest presidents, Abraham Lincoln wrote and predicted in the 19th century, “Corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money-power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in few hands and the republic is destroyed.” Honest Abe must have been on to something.
I’m certain our forefathers must be looking down on this country in shame and disgust at a society that is making a mockery of the laws of the land they so proudly preserved in ink. They sweat blood and tears, fought for their country and many died, so that you and I and future generations could live the American dream, a life of liberty and enjoy the pursuit of happiness.
America can no longer subsidize and police the rest of the world, and expect to weather the storm, as there is no longer enough economic stabilization and fiscal restraint in this country to maintain a sane budget to ensure there will be a future for my grandchildren as well as yours. Their future and the American dream will continue to be sold to foreign interests to stave-off government bankruptcy.
How long can any nation with a population of 5 percent of the world total, and one that plunders 75 percent of the world’s natural resources and its people (to maintain an arrogant, extravagant, wasteful and complacent society,) ever expect to live in harmony with countries they have exploited and draped for many decades? Pay-back is just a matter of time!
The masses of poor and hungry people are becoming more reminiscent of the many locust plagues and their migrations becomes necessary (legal or not) for the survival of their masses, it will forever change the American landscape and its economy. Past history has many documented examples!
God help future generations!
