Ministerial Association to head Spirtual Life Center

GREENVILLE – The Greater Greenville Ministerial Association will once again this year be heading up the Spiritual Life Center at the Ohio Center (the former WDRK Building).

Typically, the building will be open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Oftentimes in the morning, free coffee along with cold water will be available throughout the day. On some days, the hosting church may be having a Vespers Service, music or some other special activities. Prayer requests can always be shared at any time. Anyone is welcome to come in and sit down and eat or just relax.

The Pregnancy Help Center will have a display in the building with a number of volunteers taking part throughout the fair. The House of Hope will also have a presence in the building with their representatives being there at various times. There will also be information on the Wayne Healthcare Chaplaincy program, the Grace Resurrection Community Center, Darke County Youth for Christ and Community Unity.

There are a number of denominations and individual churches that will be taking part in hosting the building. The schedule follows:

Friday, Aug. 21 – Brethren churches with the Oakland Church of the Brethren and the Greenville Church of the Brethren.

Saturday, Aug. 22 – United Methodist churches with the First United Methodist Church and the New Madison United Methodist Church.

Sunday, Aug. 23 – The First Church of God of Ansonia will be holding a Community Church Service at the gazebo at 10 a.m. and the Greater Greenville Ministerial Association will be at the Spiritual Life Center.

Monday, Aug. 24 – Catholic churches with St. Mary’s Catholic Church and St. Dennis Catholic Church.

Tuesday, Aug. 25 – First Presbyterian Church.

Wednesday, Aug. 26 – East Main Church of Christ.

Thursday, Aug. 27 – The St. Paul United Church of Christ and the Lutheran churches.

Friday, Aug. 28 – The South Salem Church of Christ from 5 – 8 p.m.
