UNION CITY — The Mississinawa Valley girls basketball team lost to Minster 75-34 on Monday.

Minster led 12-7 at the end of the first quarter and 34-18 at halftime. The Wildcats extended their lead to 60-28 in the third quarter en route to the 75-34 Minster victory.

Nicole Scholl led Mississinawa Valley with 16 points in the game. Also for the Lady Hawks, Logan Nelson scored 12 points, Mackenzie Dirmeyer scored two, Victoria Humphries scored two, and Heather Johns scored two.

For Minster, Kayla Richard scored 16 points, Logan Arnold scored nine, Claire Fischer scored nine, Lauren Roetgerman scored eight, Marissa Luthman scored five, Alexis Wuebker scored five, Alicia Arling scored four, Kathy Prenger scored four, Hannah Sherman scored four, Schmitmeyer scored four, Mariah McKenzie scored three, Alana Poeppelman scored two, and Taylor Trego scored two.
