GREENVILLE — The Greenville girls tennis team won a pair of matches to extend its winning streak to three matches.
First Greenville swept Wayne 5-0 on Thursday.
In first singles Raquel Navas-Davis beat Yasmeen Issa 6-2, 6-0. In the second singles match Madison Bixler beat Kristen Pitt 6-1, 6-1. In third singles Abby Monnin swept Madison Miller 6-0, 6-0.
At first doubles Mallory Rich and Holly Cameron beat Alina Egolf and Jacoi Jackson 6-3, 6-0. In second doubles Molly Hunt and Bhavneep Kaur beat Julie Ogeltree and Cheyenne Bultman 6-1, 6-1.
Greenville’s junior varsity also beat Wayne 5-0. Hannah Gulley and Stacey Strobel won in doubles while the Lady Wave picked up singles wins from Paige Flory, Paige Ross, Hailey Hunt and Sajoel Hauberg.
Greenville then beat St. Marys 4-1 on Friday.
Navas-Davis beat Anna Ernst 6-0, 6-2 in first singles. At second singles Bixler beat Hanna Felver 6-2, 6-2. In the third singles match Monnin beat Kailey Rust 6-0, 6-1.
At first doubles Rich and Cameron beat Gina Perry and Rachel Moeller 6-0, 6-2. In second doubles the Lady Wave’s Erin Scott and Hunt lost to Averie Ellis and Jenny Lavth 6-7, 6-3, 6-4.
Greenville’s junior varsity doubles teams of Alexis Wentworth/Kaur, Allison Baughman/Gulley, Strobbel/Hutt, Hope Pike/Lynsie Sigle and Chloie Grace/Hauberg all won vs. St. Marys.
Greenville’s varsity and junior varsity girls tennis teams are now both 3-1 on the season. The Lady Wave play at Milton-Union Monday.
