WEST MILTON — The Greenville girls tennis team improved to 4-1 on the season with a 3-2 win against Milton-Union on Monday.

Greenville won both doubles matches with the first doubles team of Holly Cameron and Mallory Rich defeating Lizzie Fetters and Maggie Gooslin 6-4, 7-5. The second doubles team of Bavi Kaur and Erin Scott beat Courtney Dilhoff and Anna Brown 7-6, 6-3.

The Lady Wave’s Raquel Navas-Davis won her first singles match, defeating Brooke Falb 7-6, 2-6, 7-5.

Greenville’s Madison Bixler lost to Clara Fetters 6-2, 6-0 in second singles. In third singles the Wave’s Abby Monnin lost to Ashley Wombold 6-2, 7-5.

Greenville improved to 4-1 on the year while Milton-Union fell to 2-1.

Greenville also won the junior varsity match 3-2.

The duo of Alexis Wentworth and Molly Hunt won in junior varsity doubles while Stacey Strobel and Amber Hutt won singles matches.
