Volunteers of the society have prepared many special items specifically for this year’s bazaar, they include a forest of trees (decorated, undecorated), wreaths, swags, garlands, sleighs, etc. in many colors and styles. More items include snowmen of all types, hand-decorated Christmas cards, tobacco lath starts, trees, snowmen, and gates. New things this year will be Denim Country items, Fall back to Autumn items, Kid’s Korner, Santa Claus Land, Nativity(s) and Angels(s) and the traditional red and green up-cycled wreaths, garlands and table decorations. The best feature of all again this year will be their low, low, low prices. Arcanum High School’s National Honor Society sponsored event during Trick-Or-Treat was the most successful food drive bringing in nearly 8,000 items to local food banks. Several food pantries at local churches are well-stocked thanks to the generosity of our community. This was the first year that the middle school student council also participated in the event; additionally Sutton’s Foods also partnered again this year.
