Sharing story of amazing journey

Editor:

The Lord is encouraging me to step out and tell more of the miracle that has happened in my life

You might not know this, but in April 2012 I was freed of my enslavement of alcohol through a prayer to God to save my family. When something like that happens, you know God is real. It is not just a story in a book. I know who I was, and I know who I am now.

I went on a search to learn more about this God that rescued me from myself. I must tell you this was a process of baby steps. Each step leading up to the next.

A big step that launched me into a deeper level and relationship with God was a spiritual weekend awaking I attended called “The Emmaus Walk”. It is 72 hours of constant attention on Jesus without any distractions. It was at this deep connection that I felt a strong direction or steering of my purpose in life.

This past August we had some more life changing experiences happen to us. I had been feeling like God wanted me to leave my job for sometime now but a lot of unanswered questions still lingered. In August Marla and I were able to take part in a ministry that came to Darke County. I felt like God was saying “Here’s your vehicle, get in it.” So now I have gone through the extensive process of becoming a stateside missionary.

Time to revive is a Spirit-led, city-focused church-driven, and disciple-oriented in order to see Jesus Christ transform hearts and cities across the U.S. When the Church starts living and declaring the pure message of the Gospel in unity, a city, and even a nation can be revived for His glory. We prayed many prayers asking how we can know full time ministry is God’s will for us. Our answer was straight from the work of God. On a Sunday morning at church while we were singing Holy, Holy, Holy. It was impressed upon my heart to read John 20:21 not 22 or 20, but 21. Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you”.

We are in the process of becoming full time missionaries. It would be a privilege for us to meet with you and share about our journey. Marla and I are asking that you prayerfully ask the Lord if you are to be part of our prayer and/or mission support team.

I put together newsletters to keep everyone up-to-date to the things that are going on with us and the ministry. If you think you might want to receive these newsletters, let me know and I will add you to my list.
