I’m writing to ask readers to consider voting for Larry Holmes for a seat on the Darke County Board of Commissioners. I’ve known Larry for many years, going back to his student years at Greenville High schools, as a fellow member for 10 years on the Greenville City Schools Board of Education, as a patient, and as a friend.

Larry’s career in finance with Fort Recovery Industries will serve the citizens of Darke County well in the Commissioners’ office. Always well prepared and thoughtful, he considers all aspects of any situation that arises, makes decisions that are of the greatest benefit with fiscal responsibility, stands by his decisions and keeps his promises. Always approachable, he is a listener with a background rooted in Darke County knowledge and values.

Larry Holmes will be an exceptional leader as a county commissioner for the future of Darke County and its citizens.
