NEW MADISON — From the beginning of the game on Tuesday the Arcanum baseball team dominated Tri-Village, winning the Cross County Conference game 17-1 in a five-inning run rule.Arcanum pounded out 16 hits on the night while limiting Tri-Village to just three. The Trojans also played well defensively, committing just one error to the Patriots’ four.“I thought we hit the ball really well,” Arcanum coach Randy Baker said. “We’ve been in a slump for awhile, but then last night we scored nine runs, and tonight we come out and really hit the ball well.”
