Mississinawa Valley girls basketball team wins at Twin Valley South

WEST ALEXANDRIA – The Mississinawa Valley girls basketball team beat Twin Valley South 46-24 in a Cross County Conference game on Thursday.

Mississinawa Valley took a 9-7 first quarter lead and extended its advantage to 26-11 at halftime. The Lady Hawks increased their lead to 38-16 in the third quarter en route to the 46-24 win.

Mikayla Stump led Mississinawa Valley with 10 points in the victory. Also for the Lady Hawks, Kylie Willis scored nine points, Kelsie Hunt scored eight, Madison Stachler scored eight, Leslie Dirksen scored five, Sidnie Hunt scored two, Bailey Johnson scored two, and Olivia Murphy scored two.

Mississinawa Valley improved to 3-9 overall and 2-6 in the CCC with the win. The Lady Hawks will play host to Ansonia on Saturday.
