COLUMBUS – Tri-Village fell two spots and Versailles fell completely out of the rankings in the latest Associated Press state poll.

In the third state rankings of the season, Tri-Village fell from No. 2 to No. 4 in the Division IV state rankings. The defending state champion, who was ranked second in both of the season’s first two polls, was bypassed by Defiance Ayersville and Sandusky St. Mary this week. Van Wert Lincolnview, who has been ranked No. 1 in Division IV in all three polls this season, received all 23 first place votes this week.

After being ranked No. 7 in the first poll of the season and No. 11 in the second poll, Versailles fell out of the Division III state rankings this week after its loss to Russia.
