ARCANUM – Hayden Westfall hit a walk-off single as Arcanum beat Covington 2-1 in a Cross County Conference baseball game on Wednesday.

Arcanum scored the game’s first run with a Nathan Kubik RBI in the fourth inning. Covington tied the game in the seventh inning, but Westfall drove in the winning run in the bottom half of the inning for the Trojans.

Arcanum and Covington both had four hits and no errors in Tuesday’s game.

Westfall went 1-for-3 with a RBI for the Trojans, Kubik was 1-for-2 with a RBI, and Jordan Dubbs was 1-for-3.

Conner Pohl earned the win.
