Tri-Village baseball team shuts out Mississinawa Valley

NEW MADISON – Tri-Village beat Mississinawa Valley 5-0 in a Cross County Conference baseball game.

Tri-Village scored one run in the second inning, one in the fourth, one in the fifth and two in the sixth while holding Mississinawa scoreless.

Mississinawa Valley had three hits and three errors. Tri-Village had four hits and one error.

Jordan Buckley went 1-for-4 with a run and two RBIs for Tri-Village. Trey Frech was 1-for-2 and scored two runs. Jorden Midlam was 1-for-1. Jonny Wilson was 1-for-4 with a RBI for the Patriots. Christian Ricker scored a run.

Kyler Guillozet went 1-for-2 for Mississinawa Valley. Zach Dirmeyer and Tyler Jenkinson both were 1-for-3.

Wilson pitched the complete game for Tri-Village, allowing no runs on three hits, two walks and 10 strikeouts.

Matthew Slob pitched 3 1/3 innings for Mississinawa, allowing one earned run and one unearned run on two hits, two walks and one strikeout. Ethan Dirksen pitched 2 2/3 innings and allowed two earned runs and one unearned run on two hits and two walks.
