Tri-Village baseball team run rules Bethel

XENIA – Tri-Village run ruled Bethel 11-1 in a five inning Cross County Conference baseball game on Friday at Athletes In Action in Xenia.

Tri-Village started the scoring with one run in the first inning, three in the second and six in the third to lead 10-0. After Bethel run a run in the bottom of the third, Tri-Village scored the game’s final run in the top of the fifth.

Tri-Village had seven hits and four errors in the game. Bethel had four hits and five errors.

Jordan Buckley pitched the complete game for the Patriots and only needed 58 pitches. He allowed one unearned run on four hits, no walks and no strikeouts.

Tanner Maples led the Tri-Village offense by going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Jordan Buckley was 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs. Jared Buckley went 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

Tri-Village improved to 11-8 overall and 6-4 in the CCC with the win.
