Eldora Speedway kicks off DIRTcar Fall Nationals

ROSSBURG – After being rained out on Thursday, Eldora Speedway began the DIRTcar Fall Nationals on Friday.

Eldora had had 107 drivers show up to race and started the night off with eight heat races for the Dirtcar UMP Modifieds. All heat laps were 10 laps each.

In heat one the winner was the 49 of Brian Ruhlman, in second was the 36W of Kenny Wallace, in third was the 11R of Ed Roley, fourth was the 64JR of Billy Workman Jr., and in fifth was the 18S of Ryan Sutter.

For heat two taking the black and white checkered was the 77B of Ray Bollinger, in second was the 10Y of Trent Young, third was the 111 of Curt Spalding, fourth was the K9 of Will Krup and fifth was the 51 of Brandon Green.

In heat three was 2NH of Nick Hoffman taking the victory followed by the 44 of Ryan Ayers in second, in third was 7R of Derrick Ramey, fourth was the 7 of Evan Taylor and rounding out the top five was the 25N of Tyler Nicely.

Heat four saw the D1 of Lance Dehm as the victor, second was the 47 of Collin Thirlby, third was the 188 of Aaron Orr, fourth was the 16C of Josh Harris and fifth was the 34X of Andy Bibler.

The 24H of Mike Harrison was the winner followed by the 21C of Taylor Cook in second, the 15B of Dave Baker Jr. in third, the 7D of Michael Sabatino in fourth and the 33 of Mike Gemmer in fifth for heat five.

Heat six saw the 13H of Jacob Hawkins claim victory, the 16 of Jeff Koz was second, the 18L of Michael Long was third, in fourth was the 1S of Brian Shaw and fifth went to the 09D of Joel Dick.

Winning heat seven was the 35S of David Stremme, in second was the 19B of Chad Bauer, third was the 17W of Tanner Wilson, fourth was the 1DH of Dean Hoffman and fifth was the 16D of Travis Dickson.

Taking the black and white checkered for heat eight was the 44KC of KC Burdette followed by the 45P of Brian Post in second, third was 22T of Tony Anderson, fourth was the 36 of Brandon Vaughan and rounding out the top five was the 5X of Tim Richardson.

After the heat races were over Eldora transitioned to the A Features and ran four A Features of 20 laps each.

In A Feature one the winner was 49 of Brian Ruhlman, finishing second was the 36W of Kenny Wallace, third place was the 10Y of Trent Young, fourth was the 77B of Ray Bollinger and fifth place went to the 64JR of Billy Workman Jr.

For A Feature two taking home first place was the 2NH of Nick Hoffman, second was the 7 of Evan Taylor, third was the 47 of Collin Thirlby, fourth was the 7R of Derrick Ramey, and fifth place went to the 25N of Tyler Nicely.

A Feature three taking home the black and white checkered was the 24H of Mike Harrison followed by the 13H of Jacob Hawkins in second, third was the 21C of Taylor Cook, fourth was the 18L of Michael Long and fifth went to the 16 of Jeff Koz.

For the last A-Feature of the night coming in first was the 19B-Chad Bauer followed by the 44KC of KC Burdette in second, third was the 87 of David Mielke, in fourth was the 1DH of Dean Hoffman and coming in fifth was the 35S of David Stremme.
