DARKE COUNTY – Nineteen Darke County football players earned all-Southwest District honors from the Associated Press for the 2016 football season.

Greenville linebacker Logan Eldridge was named first team all-district in Division III.

Versailles offensive lineman Eric Knapke was named first team all-district in Division V.

Arcanum running back Brandon Kinney and Arcanum offensive lineman Cambell Gostomksy both were named first team all-district in Division VI.

Ansonia defensive lineman Rygh Fortkamp and Bradford offensive lineman Josh Phillips both were named first team all-district in Division VII.

Greenville offensive lineman Dalton Kopelic was named second team all-district in Division III.

Versailles defensive lineman Jacob Heitkamp, Versailles linebacker Jonny Moorman and Versailles defensive back Mitchell Paulus each were named second team all-district in Division V.

Arcanum linebacker Daniel Coats was named second team all-district in Division VI.

Greenville’s Trae Wood was named honorable mention all-district in Division III.

Versailles’ Bo Bey was named honorable mention all-district in Division V.

Arcanum’s Maverick Hildebrand was named honorable mention all-district in Division VI.

Ansonia’s Andrew Rowland, Ansonia’s Aydan Sanders, Bradford’s Hunter Penkal, Tri-Village’s Jared Buckley and Tri-Village’s Gavin Richards all were named honorable mention all-district in Division VII.
