NEW MADISON – The Mississinawa Valley eighth grade boys basketball team beat Tri-Village 31-29 on Thursday.
Mississinawa Valley led 8-5 through one quarter, and the game was tied 12-12 at halftime. After Tri-Village took a 23-17 lead in the third quarter, MV mounted a fourth quart comeback to win by two points.
Trey Godfrey led Mississinawa Valley with nine points in the game. Also for the Blackhawks, Wyatt Feltner scored eight points, Caiden Beanbloosom scored five, Zack Conner scored four, Levi Ward scored three, and Blayne Johnson scored two.
