Mississinawa Valley girls basketball team loses to St. Henry

ST. HENRY – Mississinawa Valley’s girls basketball team lost 76-44 at St. Henry on Saturday.

St. Henry jumped out to a 19-7 first quarter and extended its advantage to 33-18 at halftime. The home team pushed its lead to 52-29 in the third quarter en route to the 76-44 win.

Mikayla Stump led Mississinawa Valley with 16 points in the game. Also for the Blackhawks, Kelsie Hunt scored nine points, Sidnie Hunt scored four, Kya Lavy scored four, Madison Stachler scored four, Kylie Willis scored three, Bailey Johnson scored two, and Ana Zappa Rezende scored two.

Alexis Ontrop led St. Henry with 14 points, Nikki Keller scored 12, Danielle Lange scored 12, Addy Vaughn scored nine, Allison Siefring scored eight, Nora Vaughn scored seven, Carleigh Deitsch scored four, Danielle Imel scored four, Emma Muhlenkamp scored four, and Alyssa Buschur scored two.

Mississinawa Valley fell to 1-4 with the loss while St. Henry improved to 3-3.
