RUSSIA – The Ansonia boys basketball team lost 55-37 at Russia on Saturday.

Russia took a 19-10 first quarter lead and led 29-20 at halftime. The Raiders increased their lead to 46-31 in the third quarter on their way to the 55-37 win.

Hunter Muir led Ansonia with 22 points in the game. Also for the Tigers, Trevor Alexander scored 6 points, Logan Alexander scored 3, Keith Burk scored 3, and Brayden Swabb scored 3.

Cole Tebbe led Russia with 12 points. Also for the Raiders, Jack Dapore scored 11 points, Hunter Cohee scored 8, Daniel Kearns scored 8, Drew Poling scored 6, Ethan Monnier scored 5, Dylan Cordonnier scored 3, and Drew Sherman scored 2.

Ansonia fell to 5-5 with the loss.
