Mississinawa Valley boys basketball team beats Randolph Southern

UNION CITY – The Mississinawa Valley boys basketball team beat Randolph Southern by 1 point on Saturday, 53-52.

Mississinawa Valley led 12-11 through one quarter and 29-21 at halftime. The Blackhawks continued to lead 42-35 through three quarters on their way to the 53-52 victory.

Trent Perkins led Mississinawa Valley with 21 points in the win. Also for the Blackhawks, Ethan Bowman scored 12 points, Andrew Johns scored 9, DJ Howell scored 6, Kyler Guillozet scored 3 points, and Darin Miller scored 2.

Mississinawa Valley improved to 5-8 with the win while Randolph Southern fell to 3-10.
