KENTON – Bradford’s girls placed second and the boys placed fifth at Kenton’s powerlifting meet on Saturday.
The Bradford girls lifted 3,860 pounds, finishing behind Bluffton’s 4,470 pounds.
St. Marys won the boys portion of the meet by lifting 11,775 pounds, Kenton lifted 10, 835 to finish second, Ridgemont lifted 9,475 to finish third, Lima Bath lifted 9,100 to finish fourth, and Bradford lifted 8,870 to finish fifth.
Bradford’s Cheyenne Parke in the girls 125 pound class, Erica Gaynor in the girls 135 pound class, Michelle Bixler in the girls 145 pound class and Dillon Reck in the boys 185 pound class all placed second individually.
The Railroaders’ Olivia Daugherty in the girls 115 pound class, Hannah Stine in the girls 125 pound class, Pam Parke in the girls 135 pound class and Courtney Monnin in the girls 155 pound class each finished third.
Jenna Shellenbarger in the girls 115 pound class, Alivayah Boggs in the girls 135 pound class, Allison Grow in the girls 145 pound class, Kat Reineke in the girls 155 pound class and Cory Cotrell in the boys 195 pound class all finished fourth.
Hannah Lear in the girls 115 pound class, Alexis Wackler in the girls 195 pound class and Hunter Penkal in the boys 185 pound class each finished fifth.
Keaton Mead in the boys 135 pound class, Hunter Beireis in the boys 145 pound class, Clayton Layman in the boys 165 pound class and Taylor Stine in the boys 250 pound class all placed seventh.
Christian Burton in the boys 155 pound class and Kyle Kissinger in the boys 125 pound class both finished eighth.
Dalton Bubeck in the boys 125 pound class, Dylan Mitchell in the boys 135 pound class, Jordan Shellenbarger in the boys 155 pound class and Adam Wilt in the boys 175 pound class each placed ninth.
Jarrett Boggs in the boys 225 pound class finished 10th.
Bradford will compete again on Feb. 11 at Springfield Shawnee.
