BRADFORD – Both of Bradford’s junior high girls basketball teams won their Cross County Conference tournament openers on Monday.
Bradford’s seventh graders beat Twin Valley South 43-20. Austy Miller led the Railroaders with 14 points, Rylee Canan scored 12, Ally Wackler scored 7, Karissa Weldy scored 4, Alexis Barhorst scored 3, Ramse Smith scored 2, and Abby Fike scored 1.
The Bradford eighth graders beat National Trail 32-9. Skipp Miller led the Railroaders with 10 points, Cassi Mead scored 9, Abby Gade scored 6, Emma Canan scored 4, Maggie Manuel scored 2, and Kendall Hill scored 1.
