VERSAILLES – Marion Local shut out Versailles 2-0 in a Midwest Athletic Conference baseball game on Tuesday.
Marion scored the game’s only runs in the top half of the sixth inning.
Versailles had three hits and one error. Marion Local had nine hits and two errors.
Keaton McEdowney, Kurtis Rutschilling and Kyle Subler each had a hit for Versailles.
Jacob Heitkamp was the losing pitcher for the Tigers as he allowed two unearned runs on nine hits, one walk and one strikeout.
