Greenville wins 3-team track and field meet

GREENVILLE – The Greenville boys and girls track and field teams both won a three-team meet against Ansonia and Dixie on Monday.

Greenville won the girls portion of the meet with 81 points, Ansonia finished second with 65 and Dixie was third with 26.

Greenville won the boys portion of the meet with 89 points, Dixie was second with 69, and Ansonia finished third with 28.

Greenville’s Riley Hunt won the girls 100 meter hurdles in 17.45.

Ansonia’s A’Tyah Knowles won the girls 100 meter dash in 13.57.

Ansonia’s Brock Shellhaas won the boys 100 meter dash in 11.97.

Ansonia won the girls 4×200 meter relay in 1:53.78.

Greenville won the boys 4×200 meter relay with a time of 1:39.32.

Greenville’s Kelsie Ruble won the girls 1,600 meter run in 6:52.54.

Ansonia won the girls 4×100 meter relay in 55.43.

Ansonia won the boys 4×100 meter relay in 48.32.

Ansonia’s Skyler Marker won the girls 800 meter run in 2:52.68.

Ansonia’s Logan Warner won the boys 800 meter run in 2:16.91.

Ansonia’s A’Tyah Knowles won the girls 200 meter dash in 27.87.

Greenville’s Alex Hutt won the boys 200 meter dash in 25.04.

Greenville’s Sierra Cress won the girls discus throw with a throw of 102 feet 5 inches.

Greenville’s Jacob Bradfield won the boys discus throw with a throw of 114 feet 9 inches.

Greenville’s Emma Klosterman won the girls high jump by clearing 4 feet 8 inches.

Greenville’s Sierra Cress won the girls shot put with a toss of 34 feet 6.5 inches.

Greenville’s Jacob Bradfield won the boys shot put with a toss of 42 feet 4 inches.

Greenville’s Meg Rehmert won the girls pole vault by clearing 11 feet 6 inches.

Greenville’s A.J. Frens won the boys pole vault by clearing 15 feet.

Ansonia’s Lydia Sink won the girls long jump by jumping 15 feet 10.5 inches.

Greenville’s Marcus Wood won the boys long jump by jumping 18 feet 8.25 inches.

Ansonia’s Aliya Barga won the girls triple jump by jumping 29 feet 7 inches.

Greenville’s Foster Cole won the boys triple jump by jumping 38 feet 8 inches.
