Mississinawa Valley softball team run ruled at Tri-County North

LEWISBURG – Tri-County North run ruled Mississinawa Valley 14-4 in five innings of Cross County Conference softball on Wednesday.

After Tri-County North took a 3-0 first inning lead, Mississinawa Valley tied the game in the top half of the second inning. Tri-County North then added three runs in the second and third innings to lead 9-3. MV scored its final run in the fourth inning then North added three runs in the fourth and two in the fifth.

Tri-County North had 17 hits and Mississinawa had seven.

Paxton Scholl was 2-for-3 with two RBI for Mississinawa Valley. Amanda Jeffers was 1-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base, a RBI and a run. Bailey Johnson was 1-for-3 with a RBI.

Kinsie Blocher was 1-for-2 with a walk and a run. Trinity Konwiczka was 1-for-1 with a walk. Lindsay Johns was 1-for-3 with a run.

Scholl pitched four innings, allowing 11 earned runs and one unearned run on 15 hits, six walks and one hit batter. Taydem Elson allowed two earned runs on two hits, no walks and one hit batter.
