Registration open for Greenville youth football camp


GREENVILLE – Registration is open for Greenville’s youth football camp, which is scheduled for June 26, 27 and 28.

Greenville varsity football coach Aaron Shaffer and the Green Wave high school football coaching staff will lead the youth camp, which will last from noon to 2 p.m. each day. The camp will focus on the fundamentals of football and building relationships between the youth football family and the high school and junior high football families.

The camp is open to children entering the second through sixth grades in the fall of 2017. Players will be divided into groups of similar ability and age in order to guarantee each player receives age and skill appropriate instruction. Campers will be taught fundamentals of all football positions with emphasis placed on the camper’s interests.

The cost of the camp is $25 if postmarked by June 19. The cost is $30 for registration on the day of the camp.

Each pre-registered camper will receive a camp T-shirt at the end of the camp. Walk-up campers may receive a T-shirt if extra are available.
