LEWISBURG – The Mississinawa Valley volleyball team recorded its first Cross County Conference victory of the season on Thursday, winning 21-25, 25-23, 26-28, 25-16, 15-6 at Tri-County North.
MaKenna Price with led Mississinawa 17 kills and 23 digs. Stevi Keen had 25 digs. Amanda Armstrong had three blocks. Sidnie Hunt had four aces, 24 assists and 13 kills. Olivia Murphy had 17 assists. Lindsay Johns had three aces and three blocks.
Mississinawa Valley improved to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the CCC with the win. MV plays in the Randolph Southern Invitational on Saturday.
Mississinawa Valley’s junior varsity also beat Tri-County North, winning the match 25-19, 25-17. Mississinawa’s junior varsity improved to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the CCC with the win.
