Greenville girls tennis team wins at Fairborn

FAIRBORN – The Greenville girls tennis team improved to 8-1 on the year with a 5-0 sweep on Tuesday at Fairborn.

In first singles Greenville’s Natalie Milligan beat Paige Murry 6-3, 6-4. In the second singles match the Lady Wave’s Anna Manges beat McKayla Lyons 6-1, 6-2. The Wave’s Emily Marchal swept Tiana Thomas 6-0, 6-0 in third singles.

In first doubles Greenville’s Addie Haupt and Abby Swensen beat Katelyn Byczkowski and Amanda Wilson 6-1, 6-0. In second singles the Lady Wave’s Amber Hutt and Marabelle Lance swept Abby Lafferty and Caitlin Sanders 6-0, 6-0.

Greenville improved to 8-1 overall and 3-0 in the Greater Western Ohio Conference with the win.
