Bradford junior high volleyball teams sweep Tri-County North

BRADFORD – Bradford’s junior high volleyball teams both beat Tri-County North in two sets on Thursday.

Bradford won the seventh grade match 25-10, 25-20.

Remi Harleman had nine aces, one kill, one solo block and four assists. Lovena Grillot had eight points including six aces. Sarah Beckstedt served five aces. Bella Brewer and Courtney Riffell both had two kills. Leah Welch had two points.

Bradford’s seventh graders improved to 1-4 overall with the win and 1-3 in the Cross County Conference.

Bradford won the eighth grade match 25-10, 25-7.

Abby Fike had 16 points, 12 aces and two assists. Maddie Simons had six points, five aces and one kill. Rylee Canan had six points, four aces and two assists. Karissa Weldy had three kills. Nylani Beireis had two aces and an assist. Zoe Brewer had an ace and a kill. Macy Bubeck had one kill.

Bradford’s eighth graders improved to 3-2 overall and 2-2 in the CCC with the win.

The Bradford junior high teams will play host to Houston on Saturday.
