Bradford volleyball team defeats National Trail for its 1st win

BRADFORD – Bradford earned its first win of the season on Tuesday, defeating National Trail in five sets of Cross County Conference volleyball, 25-16, 27-25, 15-25, 14-25, 15-13.

Hannah Fout and Bailey Wysong led Bradford with 10 points each in the match. Fout had 10 points, three aces, 22 setting assists and 11 digs. Wysong had 10 points, three aces, eight kills and six digs.

Cassi Mead had nine points, eight kills and four digs. Aspen Weldy had eight points, two aces and three digs. Bianca Keener also had seven points, three aces, 13 kills, two solo blocks and six digs.

Macie Reck had 21 digs for the match. She broke the single match dig record against TCN last week with 37 digs in the match. She is 53 digs away from breaking the school’s single season record for digs.

Bradford improved to 1-11 overall and 1-3 in the CCC with the win.
