CELINA – Versailles tied for seventh and Greenville finished 14th in the 10th annual Jordan Moeller Memorial on Saturday at the Mercer County Elks Golf Club.
Versailles shot a 369 and tied Coldwater for seventh place in the 18-team boys golf invitational. Greenville shot a 410 to finish 14th.
Connor Null led Greenville with an 18-hole round of 96. Also for the Green Wave, Andrew Kiryluk shot a 101, Evan Saylor shot a 106, Bryan Day shot a 107, and Matt Hounshell shot a 108.
Connor VanSkyock led Versailles with a round of 85. Also for the Tigers, Will Eversole shot a 93, Alex Keiser shot a 94, PJ Platfoot shot a 97, and Austin Pleiman shot a 102.
Lima Shawnee won the team championship with a 323, and St. Henry was the runner-up with a 336.
Shawnee’s Sam Reed was the tournament medalist with a four-over-par 76. St. Henry’s Kyle Naumann was the runner-up with a 78, Shawnee’s Keaton McKinley finished third with a 79, and St. Henry’s Jack Romer finished fourth with an 80.
There was a six-way tie for fifth place between Nick Fischio from Botkins, Grant Csukker from Delphos St. John’s, Grant Voisard from Minster, Jill Schmitmeyer from St. Marys, Jared Hernandez from Van Wert and Logan Miller from Wapakoneta as they all shot an 81.
Reed won a $500 scholarship from the Moeller family for having the lowest score by a senior. New Knoxville’s Nathan Tinnerman also received a $500 scholarship for being drawn as the Lucky Dog among all senior players.
